Visitors

The chalet is located at the top of Blue Mountain in front of the Weider Express High Speed Six-Person Chair Lift on the north side of the Blue Mountain Resort. We are on a half acre of property which borders on the Bruce Trail and The Blue Mountain Resort. We have a 750 square foot deck which wraps around half of the chalet and overlooks the bay. You can put your skis on outside our ski door and ski down to the top of the 6-person chair.

We are a 5 minute drive to the Scenic Caves which has cross country skiing. We rent by the weekend, weekly or during the week throughout the 4 seasons.

Wasaga Beach which is the largest fresh water beach in North America is less than a 30 minute drive. We are less than a 10 minute drive to the growing Intrawest Resort which has numerous shops, bars and restaurants. You can also walk down the mountain to the resort which takes about 20 minutes. In the summer it is very peaceful at the top of the mountain with a beautiful view overlooking Nottawasaga Bay and Georgian Bay.

In the summer you can enjoy the large deck which has wooden seats along the outside of the deck and lounge chairs, deck chairs, drink tables and a large cedar picnic table along with 2 barbecues. The Bruce Trail borders our property so you can bike or hike this trail from our chalet. When it gets too hot you can slip inside and enjoy central air conditioning while watching your favorite TV programs on Satellite TV or watch a movie on a DVD or VCR player. We have a large selection of VCR and DVD tapes. The recreation room allows the children to play games, watch TV while the adults can enjoy quiet conversations upstairs in front of the large fireplace.

The chalet has 5 bedrooms (sleeps 12), 3 washrooms, sauna, open concept living room, dining room, kitchen and separate family room downstairs with walk in bar and fridge.
